How It Started

Founded in 2021, Osubare is more than just an E-commerce Platform, it’s the connection between African culture and the world. The idea was born from the desire to bring value to the African diasporas, both in the United States and all over the world. The name “Osubare” came from the Yoruba tribe. which inspired our founder while he was brainstorming, However he fell in love with the name and the fact that it glorified GOD.Today, the platform continues to depict the African culture in positive light, staying true to its purpose.Osubare aims to make a difference with its business acumen by showing everyone how beautiful and fascinating the African culture are.

Osubare means ``Praise``

Spiritual awakening awaits those who have faith that God is the savior and the overseer of everything. When establishing Osubare, our visionary and founder, Joseph Olorunesan, sought advice from his spiritual parents, Pastor Rich and Pastor Stella Aghahowa, who were both impressed by the idea. he also had the privilege of meeting with Apostle Johnson Suleman in Nigeria. This meeting solidified his belief in Osubare as a business. Apostle Johnson Suleman Prophesied Osubare as God’s plan. Joseph was flooded with a renewed sense of hope and purpose, and promised to make Osubare a means of liberation for our African people and nations.
